What is the Gala Casinos British Poker Tour?
The Gala Casinos British Poker Tour (or GCBPT) is the nation's finest poker tour taking in 6 regional festivals hosted in friendly and hospitable Gala Casinos. Each festival will run a £500+£50 No Limit Hold'Em Main Event with two 'day ones'.
Gala Casinos will add an extra £5,000 to the main event prize fund.
Festival side events include £100 and £200 NLHE Freeze-Outs as well as Rebuy tournaments and cash games. The Tour crescendos at the end of 2008 with a seven day Grand Final which will crown a worthy GCBPT champion. Each regional winner from 2008 Main Event Festivals automatically gains entry into the Grand Final Main Event as a package.
Each and every hand is dealt by our highly experienced and skilled team of 'tour dealers.'
How can I Qualify for a Festival Event?
Festival qualifications run online from daily freerolls and $5 qualifiers with Galapoker.co.uk, Coralpoker.com and Eurobetpoker.com. Live satellites are published in selected Gala Casinos. For full details on GCBPT qualification, click here.
Can I Buy-in Directly to Festival Events?
All Festival events have some degree of direct buy-ins, although the number of seats will be limited and so we advise all interested players to enter via an online or live satellite.
What will be my starting day?
Your Main Event starting days will be attributed in alternate order (ie/ Friday - Saturday - Friday) and given to you when you have won / bought your seat.
What are the tournament rules and regulations?
All GCBPT Festival events are run to published rules as well as Gala Casinos cardroom rules for qualifying satellites. The Tournament Director's ruling at all GCBPT Festival events is deemed final.
