The £100 event saw a heavily subscribed card room of 132 runners, that included several familiar faces from last year, and of course a good few new ones too.
The GCBPT dealers settled back in effortlessly to their ever high standards shuffling-up-and-dealing from just after 6pm. Added incentive for the players was a £500 Main Event seat for the winner.
By 1.15am the final two tables saw a good representation of local Nottingham poker regulars, with play tightening up a good deal and it wasn’t until 4.30am we had our winner. So, congratulations to ‘H. Phen’ who takes home £2,580, and the £500 Main Event bonus seat.
For sure, they’ll be many from tonight who will be back for more when we play Thursday’s already sold-out £200 event.
