Edinburgh GCBPT, 28th February 2008 – £200+£20 Freeze-Out

 

The £200 tournament mirrored the field size of the previous night with 142 runners sitting down for business.  Once again, the finishing line held added incentive for tonight’s winner in the form of a prized£500 Main Event seat.   

By 1.00am our runners were closer to twenty, with a good number of exits congregating towards the dealer dealt cash games taking place in the adjoining card room.  

With the bubble coming in full view, play expectedly tightened although there were some bullish moves that mixed it all up. In the end however, it’s congratulations to all hitting the cash, along with our worthy winner Tom Middleton, who arrived at the tournament with only 23 seconds to spare!
