Edinburgh GCBPT, 27th February 2008 – £100+£10 Freeze-Out

The first festival of the 2008b Gala Casinos British Poker Tour kicked of with the £100 NLHE FO, an event which saw a heavily subscribed card room of 142 runners that included several familiar faces from last year, and of course a good few new.

Our GCBPT dealers settled in effortlessly to their ever high standards shuffling-up-and-dealing from just after 6pm. Added incentive included a £500 Main Event seat up for grabs for the winner.  

By 2am an unlikely deal between 14 final players was struck, which certainly demonstrated a partisan level of generous spirited group consensus!     

Standings at the deal stage were recorded as follows, along with congratulations to Mr G Dickson who secured the £500 Main Event bonus seat as the evening’s chip leader.
