Reid's off?

Stephen Reid makes it 3100 to go from the cut-off and Paul Hambleton makes the call from the SB. The flop comes 2 A J and Paul checks with Stephen following quickly behind.

The turn brings the A and although the action is the same, this time Stephen takes a while longer to check his option. The river brings the apparently meaningless 4 but this time Paul puts a small 3000 bet into the pot. Stephen doesn’t think about it and simply mucks his cards.
