Ward of the court cards

With the blinds at 200/400, John Ward moved all-in for 7200 under the gun (it is a skill game after all). Mark Angioy deliberated before deciding there were better spots than this for his nines. However, Richard Plaistow made a quick call. Immediately to his left, Mark James went into the tank. There aren’t many hands for which this could have been a serious decision and he eventually folded, as did everyone else. Plaistow exposed A Q but was disgusted to see Ward flip over a K K. A flop of 4 K 2 left Plaistow drawing exceedingly thin and 9 wrapped it up by the turn. The redundant river was 4 and Ward boated it up.
