Garrett slams brakes on Ford

Zachary Ford raised to 7000 on the button and Gregory Garrett called in the big blind. Flop K T 9 and turn 3 were checked by both players. Garrett bet 10000 when the A fell on the river and Ford raised to 30000. Did the ace help him or was he taking advantage of a scare card to bluff a nice pot? It didn’t take long for Garrett to work out that his A 6 was worth the extra 20000. Ford mucked his hand as soon as Garrett’s chips crossed the line.
