Connett connects

Lee Connett moved all-in for 5600 under the gun and got past all except big blind Rod Buckman, who pondered long and hard before counting out the call. A 6 for Connett, T 9 for Buckman. A flop of 8 7 3 had something for everyone. The 9 gave Buckman the lead and he went to shake Consett’s hand when the T gave him two pair on the river, but Consett pointed to his six and offered his hand back to Buckman. When it finally sunk in that Buckman had lost to a straight, he shook his head in disbelief.
