Simmonds down to the felt

After a long discussion over whether or not it constituted a raise to drop chips off the bottom of a stack moved over the line without touching the felt (it was decided it didn’t), Richard Simmonds was unlucky enough to find kings against Adam Stoneham’s aces. Simmonds played his kings passively in the face of aggressive betting but couldn’t get away from them and eventually called Stoneham’s all-in on the river, the board showing:
