McColm takes a big pot

With the board showing 10 9 7 10 Q and around 14,000 in the pot both Sam Wardlaw and Norman McColm check the river.

Wardlaw fired at the pot on the turn but McColm was going nowhere. With only 3500 left by the river card Wardlaw presumably thought he wouldn’t get McColm off his hand with a bet on the end but as it turns out he probably would have done.

McColm shows A 8 for the busted draw but Wardlaw has nothing and has to muck.
