CT lays down the Law

After a preflop raise Marc Foggin, CT Law and Eddie Gaines saw a flop of K J 5. They checked it round and the turn brought the 6. Foggin bet 2,000, Law called, and Gaines asked for a count of the pot before making a reluctant call. The river was 5 and Foggin fired the second barrel for 5,000. Law thought for a little and called for around half of his remaining stack. Gaines folded. Foggin showed 9 9 and Law scooped a 20,000 pot with Q J. He reasoned that Foggin would have bet the flop if he’d held a king and made a huge call with second pair.
