Liverpool GCBPT Festival

The city famous for the Fab Four and King Kenny crowned a new hero, when, after more than a 'hard day's night' of poker, Zachary Ford came out on top of a field of 230, taking the title of Liverpool GCBPT Champion and picking up £26,000 as well as a 'ticket to ride' to the Grand Final in December.

The main event's final table was tightly contested with the remaining five players agreeing on a deal which put Zachary's 900,000 chip stack well out on top.

The tour now moves up to Teesside for the penultimate 2008 festival, with qualification available via both live and online satellites.
